Description
The stable block at Northaw House dates from the mid to late 18th century and is constructed of red brick. It features a hipped slate roof topped with a central clock turret. The building has two storeys, with bands at the sill level and eaves. The first floor has segmental-headed blocked windows, and there are plain pilasters on either side of the central door. The north elevation includes two dummy windows, while the east side has seven similar windows. The turret has a square base and an open arched belfry with a moulded cornice, topped by an ogee leaded dome with a ball finial and weathervane.
