Description

The Cottage at Great Nast Hyde is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage with an early 20th-century exterior. The ground floor is finished in painted brick and roughcast, while the upper floor features tile hanging with applied half-timbering on the gable ends. The building is single storey with attics and has a plain tile roof. The south elevation includes two ground floor cast iron casement windows and two similar gabled dormers. A 17th-century chimney stack is located at the west end.
