Description

The barns and stable range at Nast Hyde Farm form an L-shaped layout and date from the 17th to the 19th century. They are constructed with weatherboarding and have plain tile roofs. The 17th-century barn on the north side features three bays and a queen post roof construction, with a central gabled cart entrance. Adjoining this barn on the northeast side is a 19th-century stable with two bays, and attached to it is a taller 18th-century barn, which has a blank elevation facing the road. This group of buildings is included for its collective historical value.
