Description
The Plough Inn is a public house that dates from the late 17th century, with an extension added to the left in the mid-19th century. The building features a timber frame, with a painted brick ground floor and extension, and a plastered upper floor. It has a thatched roof, which includes two thatched dormer windows. The right gable end is notable for its large external red brick chimney stack, which has two shafts and a sloping base. The inn is one storey high with attics and includes two glazing bar casements. There is a 20th-century thatched porch, and the extension features one first-floor segmental-headed casement. Additionally, there is a circa 1960 extension on the left and rear of the building.
