Description

St Michael's is a house, originally a coaching inn, dating from the early 18th century with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of chequered red brick with a plain tile gable end roof and two ridge chimney stacks on the left side, plus one external chimney stack to the front wall featuring diagonal mullioned shafts. A floor band and dentilled brick eaves are also present. A canted, tile-hung bay window is located on the left centre, replacing a former coach entrance. The first floor has three segmental headed windows; the left ground floor has three small round-headed windows, fitted with mid-19th century casement windows.
