Description

A pair of farm cottages were built in the late 18th century and altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. They are constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The south elevation, which faces the road, has a four-window facade with a central door featuring a cut bracketed hood and flush panels. Above the door is a dummy window. The ground floor windows have segmental heads. The first floor windows also have segmental heads. The north elevation has two doors, the left one with a cut bracketed hood and ovolo-moulded panels, and the right one a 19th-century half-glazed door. Five segmental-headed first-floor windows are present on the north elevation. 20th-century glazing bar casements are found on both elevations. The cottages are listed for group value with a nearby barn.
