Description
The barn and former stables at Brewhouse Farm date from the 17th century or early 18th century. The barn features a gable end facing the road and is constructed with a timber frame, weatherboarded exterior, and a plain tile roof. It has a painted brick base with a plinth and a gabled cart entrance on the south side. The roof is supported by queen post construction. Adjacent to the road is an early to mid-19th century stable range, which is single storey and built of red brick with exposed timber bay divisions and a plain tile roof. This stable range has six metal ventilators facing the road. The weatherboarded north elevation includes two stable doors and three ventilators.
