Description
The barn at Woodside Place Farm is a 16th-century timber frame structure that was extended as a barn in the 17th century, with an 18th-century extension on the east side. It features weatherboarding, red brick, and a plain tile roof. The south elevation has a gabled projecting cart entrance, while the north elevation displays the heavy exposed studwork of the 16th-century farmhouse on the left center. The barn consists of two bays and is built as two storeys, with heavy floor beams. To the right of the flush double cart entrance, there is 17th-century studwork with red brick infill. Behind this, the barn has a three-bay queen post roof construction.
