Description
The Fox and Hounds Inn is an 18th-century inn, possibly built on an earlier structure. It features a combination of chequered brick and red brick with a thatched roof that is hipped to the left and has a stack at the right end. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The central section, likely the oldest part, is made of chequered brick and includes a raised band. It has two pairs of casement windows above, and below is a cambered head 12-pane window and a cambered head door, both of which have likely been altered. The left and right sections are additions in red brick, with the band continuing across. On the left side, there is an upper pair of casement windows and a ground floor 20th-century cambered-head 12-pane window. On the right side, there is also an upper pair of casement windows and a ground floor triple casement window. There is one stack on the rear wall.
