Description
Nursteed House is an 18th-century house, likely built on an earlier structure. It features red brick and roughcast walls with concrete plain tile roofs that are hipped at an angle. The house has two storeys and a roughcast three-window front. The west elevation includes a two-storey canted timber bay on the left, with 8:12:8-pane sash windows, and 20-pane sashes with architraves on the first floor in the center and to the right. The ground floor has a central French window and a pair of 12-pane sashes to the right. The south end wall is roughcast, while the rear and rear wing are constructed of brick with raised brick eaves courses. The rear wing has a ridge stack, and in the rear angle, there are early 20th-century one and two-storey projections, along with two original triple casements on the south side of the wing. Additionally, there is a single-storey east end addition featuring a half-hipped plain tile roof.
