Description

Ayot Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th or 17th century. It features a timber frame construction with its gable end facing the road. The ground floor is built of red brick, while the upper floor is weatherboarded. The roof is steep-pitched and covered with a mix of old tiles and machine-made tiles. The building has eight modern sash and casement windows, including a square two-storey gabled projection on the west side near the road. There is a modern extension on the south side.
