Description
The Putto in the Italian Garden at Moor Park, laid out around 1830, features an antique carved stone figure of Cupid standing on an 18th-century ashlar pedestal. This figure is positioned beside the path leading to the steps that access the entrance of the house. The pedestal has a moulded plinth and cornice. This Putto is one of a pair and is included for its group value, which encompasses other features such as urns, a fountain, a sundial, and a garden wall.
