Description

This is an urn located in the Italian garden at Moor Park, which was designed around 1830. The urn sits on an ashlar pedestal featuring a moulded plinth and cornice, with scrolled sides. The urn itself has a gadrooned design, bead moulding, and carved ornamentation including feathers and masks. It is one of a group of four urns in the garden, which is noted for its collective significance alongside other features such as putti, a sundial, a fountain, and a garden wall.
