Description

The Putto in the Italian Garden at Moor Park was created around 1830. It features an antique carved stone figure of Cupid set on an 18th-century ashlar pedestal. The pedestal has a moulded plinth and cornice and is positioned beside the path leading to the steps of the house entrance. This figure is one of a pair and is included for its group value, which also encompasses nearby urns, a fountain, a sundial, and a garden wall.
