Description

Green End Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century, with extensions added in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with four windows in total. The entrance is located to the left of the center and is covered by a bracketed hood. There is a cement rendered plinth at the base. On the ground floor, there is a blind opening to the left and three three-light casements to the right. The first floor has 18-pane horizontal sliding sashes, all of which have cambered heads. A plat band runs along the building. The roof is hipped to the left.

On the left side, there are three two-light casements on the first floor and one on the ground floor, which has lean-to projections over an entrance. The right gable end features a ground floor sash window and casements on both the first floor and attic. At the rear, there are two later gabled wings that project at the ends; the right wing has a gable end stack, while the left wing is shorter and has casements with cambered heads. In the center of the main range, there is a catslide roof over a continuous outshut, with a large stack in the center of the rear wall that shows traces of burnt brick diapering and has a renewed cap. A gabled dormer has been inserted at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
