Description
Green End Cottage is a house that dates back to the 16th century, was heated in the 17th century, and was refronted in the 18th century. It features a timber frame with a red brick front that is partly rendered. The cottage has a steeply pitched tiled roof and consists of two bays, likely originally an open hall. It is one storey high with an attic and has two entrances, each fitted with outer horizontal sliding sashes. The attic contains two light casements with gabled heads. The building has a plinth and dentilled brick eaves. The left end is rendered with an exposed wall plate and features a large external 17th-century stack with offsets, along with a small casement at the front. The right end is also rendered and has a small casement and an 18th-century external stack with offsets. There is a lean-to outshut at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
