Description
The Boot Public House is a 18th-century building located on The Green in Sarratt. It features a brick front that has been whitewashed and a tiled roof. The structure is two storeys high with two windows. The entrance is positioned to the left of the center, accessed through a 20th-century brick porch that has a sloping tiled hood. The ground floor has 24-pane sash windows with cambered heads, while the left window is horizontally sliding. On the first floor, there are three-light timber casements. The building has a plinth, sprocket eaves, and a Sun Fire Insurance marker. There is a stack at the right end and an external stack at the left end. To the left, there is a one-storey range made of brick and weatherboarding, which includes a sash window, casements, and an entrance at the front. A lean-to outshut is present on the right return, and there is a flat-roofed addition at the rear right, along with a large 20th-century wing at the rear left. Inside, there is a stop-chamfered binding beam and a fireplace lintel.
