Description

The Hall is a house dating from the late 17th century, with an early 18th-century front and a 19th-century extension at the rear. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings and features an old plain-tile roof. The building has a brick ridge stack located to the left of the center and various stacks at the rear. It has a three-unit plan, is two storeys tall with an attic, and has a seven-window range.

The entrance features a four-panel part-glazed door with an overlight, set within a cambered flat arch made of rubbed brick, topped with a painted fluted keystone. All window openings, which consist of 12-pane unhorned sashes, are adorned with cambered flat arches of rubbed brick and painted fluted keystones, except for the blocked openings on either side of the center on both the ground and first floors. A moulded red brick band runs along the eaves, and the attic is topped with a panelled parapet that has seven panels, each with cambered flat arches of rubbed brick and painted fluted keystones, except for the leaf-motif keystones at the left and right of the center. There is a hipped dormer on the right and a sloping roof-light on the left.

Inside, there is an early 20th-century open well staircase at the center, a queen-post roof, and ovolo-moulded spine beams on both the ground and first floors. Some ovolo-moulded panelling can be found on the left side of the ground floor.
