Description
Chestnuts is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century on the left side and the early 18th century on the right side. It features a painted flint base with large timber-framing on the left, brick infill, and painted brick on the right. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has a brick ridge stack on the left. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. There is a 20th-century panelled door in the centre. To the right, there is a three-light wood casement window, while to the left, there is a three-light wood casement window with shorter single-light windows flanking it. A brick band runs between the ground and first floor on the right. On the first floor, there is a three-light casement window to the right, a two-light wood casement window in the centre, and another three-light casement window to the left, again with shorter single-light windows flanking it. The left side features a cross-gable with a three-light wood casement window, and there is large timber-framing visible on the left return. The interior has not been inspected.
