Description

This barn, located to the west of Maple Lodge and adjoining Maple Close, is likely from the 17th century. It features a timber frame set on a base of rendered brick and flint, with weatherboarding and a tiled roof. The structure consists of four bays and has a gabled midstrey facing the house, with a catslide roof over an outshut to the left. Inside, there are jowled posts with braces to the tie beams, Queen struts, clasped purlins, and both curved and straight wind braces.
