Description

Nos 162 and 164 on Fishpool Street are early 19th century rebuilds of an older house, likely from the 17th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick and feature a high-pitched tiled roof. Each house has two storeys and one window. The first-floor windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground-floor windows are flush framed sash windows with glazing bars, both set under segmental, gauged brick arches. There are three steps leading to the doors, which are also located under similar arches. The buildings have a rendered plinth. Nos 142 to 174 (even) form a group.
