Description
Nos 42 to 45 on St Pancras are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings. They each have two storeys and one window bay. The buildings feature a tiled gabled roof with two large chimney stacks. The red brick facade has been partly refronted and includes a small brick cornice with dentils. The sash windows have flush boxes, with the upper windows set in flat arches and the lower windows in slightly segmental arches, although the glazing bars are missing. No 45 has window shutters. Nos 44 and 45 have doorways topped with flat hoods and modern doors, while No 42 features a modern contemporary style doorcase with pilasters and a rectangular pediment above, leading to a door that has a glazed upper section and one large fielded panel at the base. Nos 42 to 51 form a group.
