ST PANCRAS 1. 972 (North-West Side) Nos 26 to 29 (consec) SU 8605 SE 13/360 su 8604 NE 20/360 II 2. Range of C18 cottages. 2 storeys and attic. 1 window and 1 dormer each except for No 29 which has more (3 window bays and 3 dormers). Modern dormers except in No 28. Tiled gabled roof in 2 sections with slightly higher ridge line towards Eastern end. Red brick with some grey headers; brick stringcourse above ground floor. Coved cornice in Nos 28 & 29. Sash windows. Nos 26 & 27 have modern windows with segmental arches, glazing bars intact. Windows in flat arches in Nos 28 & 29; rendered or painted lintels over first floor windows; rubbed brick voussoirs and brick voussoirs over ground floor windows. Modern 3 light sash window inserted in Easternmost bay in No 29; all glazing bars intact. Modern doorcases to Nos 26 and 27: fluted pilasters with frieze and rectangular pediments over; No 28 has small flat hood on plain brackets over. Modern doors or original panelled doors with upper parts cut away and glazed.
