Description

This is an early 19th century rebuilding of a 17th century house. It is two storeys high with three windows, constructed of red brick and topped with a steeply pitched, tiled roof and a brick eaves cornice. The first-floor windows are three-light casements. On the ground floor, there is one similar window and a shallow, canted bay window. The front door features two panes of glass and four fielded panels, protected by a moulded cornice hood supported on carved consoles. A rendered plinth runs along the base of the building. Two gabled rear extensions are present. The building forms a group with numbers 142 to 174 (even) on Fishpool Street.
