Description

No. 170 Fishpool Street is a 19th-century front added to a house that dates back to around 1600. The building has two storeys and features two windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof and is constructed of red brick with random blue headers. The first floor has two-light casement windows with glazing bars set in near-flush box frames. The ground floor includes a door and sash windows, also with glazing bars, which are placed in moulded frames and recessed within stucco-lined reveals. There is a rendered plinth at the base. The rear elevation displays two high, narrow gables. Nos. 142 to 174 (even) form a group.
