Description

The properties at 72-76 St Peter's Street are a group of three houses dating to 1582. They are two storeys in height. Number 72 has two windows on each floor. The roof is tiled with a simple wooden eaves cornice. The walls are currently pebbledashed. The main windows are modern casements with glazing bars in plain wood frames. However, the first-floor windows on either side of the doorways are oval, with rhomboid glazing bars laid horizontally, and a similar oval window is present on the ground floor. Each property has a gabled hood supported by brackets over the door. Numbers 74 and 76 each have a single window and are otherwise similar to number 72, except for the absence of oval windows. Numbers 58 to 78 (even) are grouped together.
