Description

This is a terrace of three houses built around 1800 in the town of Wisbech. The houses are constructed from local amber brick, with red brick arches over all the windows. They are three storeys high with basements, and feature eight bays each. The window glazing differs between the properties; number 7 has modern twelve-pane sash windows, number 9 has late 19th-century four-paned sash windows, and number 11 retains original nine-paned sash windows on the second floor, with twelve-paned and first-floor, and twelve-paned ground-floor sash windows. Numbers 7 and 9 have a shared, simple wooden door surround with a rectangular fanlight above the door. Number 11 has panelled reveals surrounding a similarly styled wooden doorcase with a rectangular fanlight, and a modern panelled door. All entrances are accessed by stone steps. This property demonstrates group value from the contribution it makes to the surrounding area.
