Description
11 Union Street is a late 18th century shop that may have been refronted from an earlier building. It is constructed of local brown brick and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high with two bays and has a shallow stone-coped parapet. On the second floor, there are two recessed, twelve-paned hung sash windows set in cambered, gauged brick arches with stone cills. The first floor has two similar but larger windows. The shop front is modern and includes a side passage on the right, which reveals an exposed timber-framed floor. There is no exposed timber framing visible in the interior.
