Description

6 School Lane is a building originally comprising two houses from the 18th century, which has been altered over time. It is constructed of local brown brick and features a red pantiled mansard roof. The building stands two storeys high with attics, and includes two modern dormer windows. The first and ground floors each have two recessed, twelve-paned hung sash windows, which are topped with cambered, gauged red brick arches. The entrance to No. 4 has a wooden, architraved doorcase and a six-panelled door, while the entrance to No. 5 has been blocked. The building also has a brick plinth.
