Description
85-87 Worcester Road is a building from the 18th century that functions as two separate dwellings. It has two storeys and an attic, constructed of red brick with rusticated stone quoins and a stone plinth. The northwest elevation facing the street features six camber-headed sash windows on the first floor, each adorned with stone key-blocks. There is a splayed bay on the left side, and plain boarded doors are present. Some windows on the right side have been blocked up. The southwest elevation rises to three storeys and has four windows, also with camber-headed sashes in cased frames and stone key-blocks. A central hooded doorcase contains a six-panel door. The roof is hipped and covered with machine tiles. Please note that the address should be amended to reflect Nos 85 and 87.
