Description
The Black Cross Public House, located at 70 Worcester Road, has origins dating back to the 17th century but has been partly rebuilt in brick. The building stands two storeys tall, with timber framing visible on the upper floor of the main front. The large right-hand gable features simple framing, while the smaller hand gable showcases geometrical framing with brick and plaster infilling. The roof is covered with well-weathered machine tiles. The windows include modern casements as well as older sash windows with glazing bars.
