Description

The Lych Gate of St John the Baptist Church likely has medieval origins, although much of the timber has been replaced. It features a tiled gable roof, and the end posts are embedded in a later wall. The Lych Gate, along with St John's Court (formerly the Council Offices), the Church of St John, and No. 14 St John Street, forms a cohesive group.
