(Formerly listed as: Urban District Council Offices (Old Vicarage))

8.7.71.

G.V.

II

Mid C19. 2 storeys. Brick building with stone dressings carried out in well considered "early C17 styles" with geometrical gables. Recent extension on right hand side by the late C Baterman (F) in similar character. Well placed on high ground overlooking St John's Street with extent of grass in front. Listed mainly on account of the very good grouping with St John's Church and No. 14.

The former Council Offices, Church of St John's, the Lych Gate and No. 14 St John St form a group.
