Description
229 Canterbury Road is an 18th-century building that has been altered. It stands two storeys high with attics and is constructed of brown brick. The roof is half hipped and tiled, featuring two dormers. On the side elevation, there is one sash window with a cambered head. The front elevation has been completely changed, now featuring a modern porch with herringbone brick infilling and imitation timber-framing, along with bays that have leaded lights. This building forms a group with No 231.
