Description

79 Sopwell Lane is an earlier 18th-century house of two storeys and two windows, situated on the north side of Sopwell Lane. The house has a moderately pitched, hipped roof covered in tiles. The front is cement rendered, with a low plinth. The windows are set within shallow segmental arches, appearing almost flush with the render. Ground-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars, while first-floor windows are casements with glazing bars, all set in box frames. The front door is contained within a wooden doorcase featuring a bracketed open pediment with a dentil cornice.
