Description

The White Lion Public House is a timber-framed building, reputed to date from 1594. It consists of two parts and features a fairly high pitched, tiled roof. The structure has two storeys and three windows, with two located in the right-hand section, which has a weatherboarded end wall. The first floor is slightly jettied, and the building has been refaced in plaster on the first floor and brick on the ground floor. The door and windows have been renewed. Inside, there are several exposed beams.
