Description
The Hare and Hounds Public House is a building from the 17th century or earlier, featuring modern extensions to the right and rear. It has a high-pitched roof that has been renewed with machine tiles, along with a thick chimney stack that has also been renewed, located to the right of the center. The building is two storeys high and has five windows. It is timber framed with a plastered exterior. The first floor has old casement windows, while the ground floor features renewed sash windows. There are two steps down to a modern door that has been inserted on the left side. Inside, there is a small room with an inglenook fireplace and heavy beams, a close studded staircase well, and thick plank floors on the upper level.
