Description

This is a 16th-century timber-frame house located on the north side of Sopwell Lane. It is two storeys high and has three windows. The house has a high-pitched, slightly swept tiled roof with a chimney positioned slightly left of centre. The exterior is rough cast. The first floor overhangs, displaying visible, close-set beam ends, and its windows are modern casements. The ground floor has one sash window with glazing bars and one casement window. Brick steps lead to the front doors.
