Description
39 Broad Street is an 18th-century house located in New Alresford. The building features roughcast walls and a tiled roof, and is divided into two parts with two storeys and an attic, comprising one window on the north side and two on the south side. It has a plinth supporting plain walling. The windows are sashes, with a bow window on the first floor of the south side that contains two sashes. The entrance is marked by a doorcase that has a moulded cornice supported by double-scroll brackets, with thin panelled pilasters and a panelled soffit to the hood and reveals. The door features a rectangular fanlight with a radiating and curved pattern, and a six-flush-panelled door. Additionally, the south side includes a carriage entrance and a plain door, along with one flat-roofed dormer.
