Description

This is an 18th-century house, with later 20th-century alterations. It is built of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with blue headers, and has a tile roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has two windows on the upper floor. A 20th-century dormer window with casements is set into the roof. The first-floor windows are early 19th-century sashes. A 20th-century, Georgian-style angular bay with sash windows replaces what was formerly a shop window. The doorcase features an open pediment, a broken cornice above brackets, and thin panelled pilasters framing a six-panelled door. A sash window now occupies the position of the former shop door.
