Description

No. 50 Broad Street is a house dating from the 18th century, with a front that was altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stucco and features a tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two windows. There are two gabled dormers that have bargeboards and sash windows. The parapet has stone coping and a moulded band with lead-top weathering, which encircles the two upper angular bays that also contain sash windows. On the south side, there is a large rectangular bay with sash windows. Beneath the upper bay on the north side, there is a moulded cornice supported by three carved brackets, above a six-panelled door and a sash window. The house has a plinth.
