Description

No. 31 Broad Street is an 18th-century house constructed of brick with a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and features four windows. It is built with red brick in Flemish bond, accented by blue headers, a red flush band at the first floor, red rubbed flat arches, moulded stone cills, and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in exposed frames. On the south side, there is a doorcase in the Doric Order, which includes triglyphs, fluted pilasters, and a five-panelled door, with the top panel being glazed, all above stone steps. The house is topped with a modillion eaves cornice.
