Description
Moss Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations and an extension to the north made in the 18th or 19th century. The building features a timber frame with roughcast, while the ground floor of the crosswing and the front of the hall range are made of painted brick. It has steep old red tile roofs and is a small two-storey house facing east, with a south crosswing that does not project. There is a plank door located under a lean-to porch next to the crosswing. The first floor has three two-light flush casement windows with small panes. On the ground floor, there are two windows in the crosswing, a window to the right of the porch, and a bow window set further back to the right (north). A large external chimney is located on the south side of the crosswing.
