Description
Colemans Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It has been cased in brick during the 18th or 19th century and features a large rear extension from the 20th century. The building has a timber frame that is cased in red brick, topped with a steep old red tile roof. It is a long, two-storey house with three windows facing north. The windows are flush, two-light casements with small panes and segmental arches on the ground floor. The entrance is through a half-glazed door located in a gabled 19th-century brick porch, which also has a segmental arch. There is a large internal chimney next to the door and another internal chimney on the eastern gable. The ends of the purlins are visible in the roughcast end gable.
