Description

The statue of Diana is located at the end of the left-hand alley running north from The Bury in St Paul's Walden. This 18th-century statue, of French origin, features a lifesize white limestone figure of Diana facing southeast. She is positioned next to a tree stump, with a greyhound standing on its hind legs to her right. The statue is mounted on a square stone plinth that has a tall hollow moulded base and a moulded cap. The back of the statue bears the inscription '.....M'.
