Description

The barn at Valley Farm, which is located next to the River Keeper's Cottage, is a well-preserved example of later 17th century construction. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a corrugated iron roof, resting on a base made of brick and flint. The barn consists of three bays and includes clasped purlins with queen struts and straight wind braces. There are central double doors on the north side and a lean-to central projection on the south side.
