Description

This barn, located on the west side of the farmyard at High-Heath Farm, dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a timber frame and consists of three bays. The exterior is weatherboarded, with a plinth made of tarred brick and flint. The front lean-to is constructed of 18th-century red brick. There is a gabled cart entrance on the south side, and both front and back extensions create a catslide roof, which is covered in plain tiles. The structure includes thin and medium scantling timbers, straight braces, and a clasped purlin roof.
