Description

Old Post Office Cottages is a house that has been converted into two houses, dating from the early 18th century. It features a timber frame with dark weatherboarded gable triangles and a projecting red brick casing. The building has a steep red pantile roof and is a small two-storey structure with end chimneys, facing south. It is located in backland, accessible via a short lane on the south side of No. 13. The south front has two windows on each floor, with two-light flush casement windows on the first floor. There is a segmental arch over a wider window on the ground floor to the right, which belongs to No. 2. No. 1 has a half-glazed door next to a window, which is now sheltered by a lean-to glazed porch.
