Description
24 and 25 Red Lion Street is a house that has been converted into two dwellings, dating from around 1820. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with two brick chimneys and raised brick gables. The building is three storeys high and has a three-bay street front. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, framed by a painted pilaster door surround topped with an entablature hood. On either side of the entrance are single glazing bar sash windows. To the right, there is a four-panel door set in a painted and moulded surround with a flat hood above it. The upper floors have a central window flanked by slightly wider glazing bar sash windows, and a similar arrangement of glazing bar sash windows is found above. All the windows are topped with wedge lintels made of brick.
