Description
Chandlers Cottage is a house incorporating elements from the 17th century, with a 20th-century extension and a recent central section. A late 19th-century water tower, which is not of particular architectural interest, sits at the left end of the building. The right-hand portion of the house is timber-framed and comprises two bays, with a gable end facing the road. A central red brick chimney stack with joined square shafts is characteristic of the 17th century. The cottage is two storeys high and has a lobby entrance plan, with the staircase located against the chimney stack in front of the entrance door.
